Oluwayemisi Ojo

Project Lead, Content

Yemisi is the Project Lead, Content at the Global Schools Program, a UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) initiative. She is a 2021 awardee of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters pursuing a Master’s Degree in African Studies specializing in International Development and Violent Conflict and Intercultural Communication at the Universities of Porto, Bayreuth, and Bordeaux across different countries in Europe. Yemisi has several years of experience working with local and international non-profits as a development communication professional in Nigeria with proficiency in project management, grant writing, content development, digital communications, and audio production. She has worked on various projects, including Human Rights, Youth Development, Governance, and Education. In 2018, during her National Youth Service, Yemisi won the award for Excellence in Leadership as the President Sustainable Development Goals Community Development Service group, Benue State, establishing SDGs School Clubs in 10 Secondary Schools and training about 100 teachers on the SDGs. She has worked for the Global Schools, and UN SDSN, first as a Global Schools Advocate and later as a Project Officer, Content.
